Saffara Whitely-Hoffelner is named The OCAA Women's Rugby Sevens Athlete of the Week

Saffara Whitely-Hoffelner (Richmond Hill) became the first OCAA women's rugby sevens player to win both Player of the Year and Championship MVP honours as her Seneca Sting won the provincial gold medal. The fifth-year centre scored a try in Seneca's 26-12 win over host Fleming in the semi-finals, and was a key figure in Seneca's 15-0 shut out of Humber in the gold medal match.  Congratulations Saffara!
