The Seneca Sting opened their home schedule Saturday evening against the Humber Hawks, coming away with a 0-0 draw.

The Sting controlled the play for most of the match, outshooting the Hawks 7-0 while attempting fourteen shots to the Hawks seven.

The best chance for the Sting came in the opening moments when the Sting were awarded a penalty kick. Rachel Dorland's kick banged against the crossbar before the ball was cleared from the Hawks eighteen yard box.

The first half shots heavily favoured the Sting by a 5-0 margin (9-1 attempts on goal).

Kaitlyn James had the shutout for the Sting while Vanessa Fiore was perfect for the Hawks.

The draw moved the Sting record to 1-0-2 on the season while the Hawks continue to maintain the top spot in the division at 3-0-1.
