The Seneca Sting (5-1) got back to their winning ways, defeating the Loyalist Lancers (2-3) 63-40.
The Sting overwhelmed the Lancers from the start. Brianna Black opened the scoring with a 12-foot jump shot, kick-starting the Sting to a 20-6 first half lead.
Nine first-half points by Alcian Satchel provided the Sting with a 36-16 halftime lead.
The second half saw the Sting move the ball inside the paint to exploit their height advantage. Despite not scoring a three pointer in the second half, the Sting still outscored the Lancers 27-24.
Satchel led the Sting wth 13 points along with 8 steals. Sarah Givens finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Shenice Stubbs continued her dominance in the paint with 8 points and 12 rebounds.
Jenni Thompson topped the Lancers wtih 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Brittany Mason contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.
