The Seneca Sting split their season opening doubleheader against the George Brown Huskies.
The Sting dropped the opening game 14-5 on the road at Wishing Well Park.
The Sting responded early and often in the second game of the season, jumping out to an 8-1 lead in the top of the 2nd inning. A pair of home runs by Dan Perrier and a grand slam by Tommy Nguyen sparked an offense which exploded for a 17-6 victory in five innings.
