Second Half Drives Sting to Victory

The Seneca Sting advanced to the OCAA Championship semi-final with a 6-2 over the UTM Eagles.

Adam Waithe had a hat trick for the second straight game, scoring in the 31st minute, 48th minute and the 76th minute.

Trailing 1-0, Egrinaldo Tavares evened the score in the 23rd minute. Waithe's first marker gave the Sting the lead, but the Eagles evened the scoring in the 39th minute. Michael Washington put the Sting back up 3-2 heading into halftime with a goal during stoppage time.

Following the two second half goals by Waithe, Marcus McGlynn completed the scoring in the 90th minute.
