Sting Look to Defend Championship

The Seneca Sting will look to capture their second consecutive OCAA Women's Indoor Soccer Championship this weekend at Redeemer (March 23-25).

The Sting won last year's championship over the Fanshawe Falcons and have captured two of the last three OCAA championships (2013-14).

After suffering a season-opening loss to Sheridan (1-0), the Sting are unbeaten in twelve straight including a 2-0-1 record at the OCAA Regionals on March 7.

The Sting opened the season with a win in the Redeemer Cup and followed that up by winning the George Brown Invitational.

Overall, the Sting have won two gold, two silver and three bronze all-time in Indoor Soccer since its' inception in 1990-91. The Sting have also won a medal in five of the last seven championships.
