Bettencourt Joins Coaching Staff

The Seneca Sting are excited to welcome Kristen Bettencourt to the Women's Soccer coaching staff.

Bettencourt was a former player with the Sting during the 2018-19 season where Bettencourt was a team captain. Following the outdoor season, Bettencourt was named OCAA East Division Defensive Player of the Year as well as an OCAA First-Team All-Star.

A graduate of the Event Marketing program (post-graduate), Bettencourt previously spent four years with the Brock Badgers while being named a team captain for the 2017-18 season.

Bettencourt has previous experience coaching the Oshawa Kicks U8 girls (2019) and Toronto FC Juniors Academy (2019).

Tryouts for the Women's Indoor Soccer team will commence January 17 and 19. The Sting will host the OCAA Regional on March 1 in the Newnham Dome. The OCAA Championship will be contested March 9-10 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
