Sting Erupt in Second Half

The Seneca Sting scored three goals in the second half to defeat the Centennial Colts 3-0. Courtney Airhiavbere broke the nil-nil tie in the 67th minute. Jordan Burke added some breathing room for the Sting in the 73rd minute and Faythe Hoyte completed the scoring in the 78th minute. Raven Edwards-Dowdall had two saves and was aided by the post on a penalty kick to earn the shutout.

• The Sting have now won 17 consecutive regular season matches dating back to the 2018-19 season
• It was the first career goals for both Hoyte and Airhiavbere
• Burke's goal was her first regular season marker since the 2019-20 season
