Sting Bats Cold Against Hawks
The Seneca Sting could only muster two hits, falling to the Humber Hawks 12-0 in five innings. The Hawks scored six runs in the second inning before adding three runs in each of the fourth and fifth to secure the victory.
- The Hawks outhit the Sting 14-2
- The Sting committed four errors to the Hawks two
- Cassidy Warner and Chloe Ferko had the lone Sting hits
- The Hawks struck out three times while the Sting only struck out once as a team
- Humber's Cheyenne Sears picked up the win while Seneca's Alyssa Van Der Werf suffered the loss
The Sting (5-13) will host the Durham Lords (14-6) on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Newnham Field.
