Gheisar Hired by CPL's Wanderers

Patrice Gheisar has been hired to coach the Halifax Wanderers of the Canadian Professional Soccer League and will not be returning for the 2022-23 season.

Gheisar coached the Seneca Sting for three seasons (2019-2022), immediately turning around a program that hadn't medalled at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) in six seasons. In three seasons, Gheisar led the Sting to a pair of OCAA bronze medals, an OCAA silver medal and Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) silver medal.

Gheisar leaves the Sting with a 28-6-1 record including a 21-2-1 record in the regular season.
