OCAA Championship Goes Through Seneca

The Seneca Sting has earned the privilege to host the 2024 OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship February 23-24 in the King Gym.

As the top remaining team in the OCAA East Division (17-1; 1st), the Sting rolled through the OCAA Crossover and quarterfinals, sweeping both the Sheridan Bruins and Algonquin Wolves.

The Sting will host the Durham Lords on Friday at 5pm in the first sem-final match. The teams split their regular season series with the Sting capturing their most recent match in four sets on November 27.

The second semi-final match will see the OCAA West Division's top seed, the Humber Hawks square off with the Loyalist Lancers on Friday at 7:30pm. The Hawks have won the past two OCAA championships and 13 of the past 15 championships.

The semi-final winners will play for the gold medal on Saturday at 5pm while the losing teams will play for the bronze medal at 2:30pm.
