2023-24 Outlook
The Sting narrowly missed out on reaching the OCAA Championship this past season, falling in the final game of the season to the George Brown Huskies in a 'winner-take-all' game. The Sting return a number of key players who contributed offensively, including their top three offensive producers (AJ Rowe, Tyler Hill, Austin Hagerman).

Thirteen players will don the Sting uniform for the first time this season, highlighted by signees Keishon Williams (infielder), Haven Tai (pitcher/infielder), Joshua Thiesson (pitcher/outfielder), Daylon Guan Armit (catcher/first base), Gabe McCullough (first base/third base) and Cole Devine (right field/pitcher). The influx of pitchers should help ease the loss of four of the top five innings-eaters from last season.

The team received boost offensively when Gabe Bourgeois announced his return to the Sting following a one-year hiatus. The slugger was one of the top batters on the 2021 OCAA bronze medal team and will look to add power to the middle of the line-up.

At the helm will be Matthew Nailer who returns for his fifth season. The 2019 OCAA Coach of the Year will be joined on staff by assistant coaches Joshua Howsam (5th year),  Avery Bet-Payumo (3rd year) and Kenneth Pittman (3rd year).
