Leveridge, Brown Named OCAA Basketball All-Stars

Tianna Leveridge has been named an Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) East Division Second Team All-Star while Shameen Brown has been named to the OCAA East Division All-Rookie Team.

Leveridge (Scarborough) was one of the top all-around players in the OCAA this season, finishing third in the conference shooting 51 percent from the field while also finishing sixth in rebounding, averaging nearling double-digit rebounds per game (9.6). Leveridge was also second on the Sting in scoring, averaging 9.7 points per game.

Brown (Toronto) brought an offensive touch to the team in her first season with the Sting. Brown averaged 10.6 points per game to lead the Sting, hitting double figures in six of 10 games played this season. In the OCAA, Brown was a top 25 scorer (23rd).
